Position/Title: An excellent opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Structural Biology Division
Location: Australia’s pre-eminent biomedical research institute.
Summary: The Glukhova lab is interested in understanding the structural mechanisms of Wnt signalling, with a particular focus on membrane protein complexes and the application of this knowledge for drug discovery. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with expertise in mass spectrometry and proteomics, with a particular focus on crosslinking mass spectrometry. The postdoctoral scientist will be responsible for driving the project aimed at understanding the organisation of membrane signalling complexes in cells and following their isolation for structural characterisation. This position will join a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative environment in their effort to understand the molecular events underpinning signal initiation during Wnt signalling and how these processes are altered in colorectal and pancreatic cancers.
