Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with world leading expertise in proteomics to join the £22m National Horizon Centre (NHC).

At the National Horizons Centre, high-quality research activity is undertaken with a strong industry focus, linking advanced biosciences to an understanding of whole bioprocesses by which discoveries are translated into healthcare outcomes.

We are seeking a new member of staff to strengthen the role of proteomics that underpin our health and disease research and biomanufacturing research.

Working within the NHC you will grow our research portfolio with a strong industrial focus. You will develop a programme of externally funded research and contribute to the research, and enterprise objectives of the NHC and Teesside University. You will have a strong track record of publishing in high impact peer-reviewed journals and securing funding from a range of sources, including industrial partners.
