HUPO Executive Committee
Assists the president in the management of the organization. The Executive Council consists of Vice-Presidents each of who are the chairs of various standing committees, a secretary general, a treasurer, and the President.

The meetings committee shall have responsibility for reviewing all HUPO related meeting activities except HUPO annual congress,
and reporting its recommendations to the Executive Council from time to time and the regularly scheduled council meetings.
It shall advise the Council on policy, ethical, and legal issue s that may arise from organization of HUPO related meetings.

Publications Committee
The role of the Publications Committee is to oversee all HUPO-related publications sent for peer review; in particular, those from HUPO Initiatives. The objective of this activity is not strictly for peer review, but is more for oversight.
The review process conducted by this Committee will assure the following:
- All publications are approved by the corresponding co-chairs of the Initiative
- All publications are approved by HUPO co-authors
- All publications are consistent with Protein Standards developed by the HUPO PSI
- All publications are consistent with the mission of HUPO Initiatives Committee.
