Overview
The Human Proteome Organisation (HUPO) was launched on February 9, 2001 and has a mandate of fostering international proteomic initiatives to better understand human disease. Presently there are eleven scientific initiatives each of which is based in one country, but is international in scope. Each year we host an Annual World Congress as well as numerous regional activities.
Within this section are details regarding: the background of HUPO, a glossary of proteomic and scientific terms; HUPO's organizational structure; how to become a member; international proteomic societies; sponsors and sponsorship opportunities; logos and downloadable material; and job postings.
