Welcome to the HUPO 5th Annual World Congress
The HUPO 5th Annual World Congress will follow in the tradition of Versailles (2002), Montreal (2003), Beijing (2004), and Munich (2005) with a full scientific program and exhibition. The Congress attracts the world’s leading scientists involved in Proteomics research and initiatives related to human disease.
HUPO annual congresses were recently voted as one of the top 5 most recommended specialized scientific meetings globally. More than 2,100 people representing 61 countries attended the 2005 Congress in Munich.
The HUPO 5th Annual World Congress entitled “Translating Proteomics from Bench to Bedside” will take place in the Long Beach Convention Center. The center occupies a waterside location with harbor in one direction and sandy beach in the other direction. It is surrounded by a variety of hotels, restaurants, and shops, all within an easy walk.
The Long Beach Congress provides many opportunities for companies to exhibit and promote products and services to an elite group of scientists. Exhibit booths, scientific posters, Internet access and refreshment breaks will be located in the exhibit hall. As a sponsor, your company will receive preferred status throughout the Congress. In addition, there is an array of “a la carte” options. Miquela Ortiz, Coordinator of Corporate Activities, will work with you to design a program to meet your needs.
